ONLINE exhibition until September 1, 2024
Burgi Kühnemann (*1935) holds her own powerful position in book arts. Her unique books, organically combining text and image, are drawn with a sharp pen and painted with a decisive stroke; she has captured almost 100 fables by Jean de La Fontaine. A selection can now be seen here over the summer together with unusual "readings" of Kleist, Goethe and the Brothers Grimm. Price list on request: info@druckundbuch.com
Click on the books and you will be taken from front to back (which of course does not replace the original, but refers to it in the best possible way)
On September 5th in the gallery: Opening of the exhibition by Tricia Treacy, Nora Pauwels and Denise Bookwalter (see preview)
