Gunnesch, Stefan: Daemonien
The text of the book starts on the cover and runs without ending over the edge of the book. This principle continues on the following pages and creates a flow of individual, long lines. When turning the pages, 14 portrait and body pictures appear which are alienated by radical interventions. The process of painting over became a self-seeking appropriation of the images and poses the question of a new (visual) identity. The title ›Dæmonien‹ was inspired by an essay of the German doctor Karl Ludwig Schleich from 1920, called ›Das Ich und die Dämonien‹.
