Rohrmus, Monika: A Haunted House
An enchanted house, Virginia Woolf describes in poetic language her feeling that a ghostly couple is scurrying through their house. Monika Rohrmus visualizes the two levels of the narrative, the real and the ghostly, by covering the pages printed with multicolored woodcuts with tracing paper printed with dark colors. In this way, uncovering and covering up, becoming visible and disappearing are created when leafing through the pages.
