Harms, Anja: Sybille Oversized fragments of Friedrich Hölderlin's handwriting from November 1799 characterize the book "Sybille" - writing becomes image. These images, two-color linocuts printed on handmade paper, are juxtaposed with the text "Sybille", set by hand and printed on both sides of transparent paper. "Sybille" is a fragmentary draft and was not printed until many years after Hölderlin's death. The text pages take up this fate through an irritating play with transparency and light. The binding is also multi-layered. The cover of the back covers parts of the front like a collage. Its torn edge reveals a colored linocut.
