In this book, whose format corresponds to a record sleeve, Rosa Lachenmeier lines up her ar-tistically reworked LPs page by page. Contras-ted with them are photographs of New York bridges. Record and bridge technology develo-ped in parallel. Both bridges and music bring people together and can be read as metaphors for what connects. The consistent juxtaposition of bridge pictures and painted vinyl records opens up a wide field of associations.
