Catugier, Laure: Architecture Is Frozen Music This publication is Catugier’s first monograph, a compilation of photographic works created during her stays in Germany, the Czech Republic, Japan, Iran, Poland, Russia, and Egypt. The publication is supplemented by an e-book containing Catugier’s videos, performances, and her collaborations with musicians and essayists. The high-quality, hand-bound publication is designed to be viewed in various orientations, with the overlapping pages allowing for endless combinations. The book’s structure is based on the “open form” theory of the Polish modernist architect Oskar Hansen.
