Harms, Anja: Mnemosyne
Images, forms and materials together with Friedrich Hölderlin's text address memory and its counterpart, forgetting. The diffuse surfaces, painterly applied with acrylic paints in many layers, correspond with the disappearance of the text on translucent paper. Drawn black lines, printed as linocuts, form a hard contrast to the soft surfaces; they move in the border area between figurative and abstract forms.
