Books // Books 2, is a continuation of the exhibition catalog Books // Books from 2014.
Books // Books 2 consists of an archival box with a silkscreened title and two additional archival cardboard inserts, thus the box also provides space for future publications. It contains the following publications:
// a risographed cover of "Pyongyang in May 2004" and "Pyongyang in September 2019" with 6 postcards and two inserted magnifying glasses.
// A 76-page catalog with seven interior foldouts and a flexible cloth cover with embossed title. This catalog features seven books in detail.
// an 8-page leporello on "The Japanese Hit Parade of May 25, 1968." The fanfold is housed in a two-color Corvon cover in the style of a record cover.
// A 48-page text booklet with contributions from Ruth Rogers, Wellesley College, MA, "From a Distance, Close Up," and Mar-shall Weber, Booklyn, Brooklyn, NY, "TheUtility of Interpretation." In addition, the booklet contains an up-to-date collection and exhibition directory.
The box can be purchased in two versions, one as listed aboveor additionally with the catalog Bücher // Books, which was published in 2014 as part of the solo exhibition "Entgrenzt" at the Klingspormuseum Offenbach.
Books // Books 2 is published in an edition of 300 signed copies.
