Bookwalter, Denise / Pauwels, Nora / Simmonds, Sandra / Russo, Paul / Fox, Jay /Scarr, Sarah : Favorite Lake "Favorite Lake" brings together artists, a writer, and a botanist to explore the biodiverse sandhill ecosystem located south of Tallahassee in the wilds of Florida. Full-size prints of plants paired with a poem describe the unique experience of being in the presence of century-old cypress trees and discovering new plant growth. The group visited the site multiple times, walking around the lake in different seasons. The result is this multiyear project that became Favorite Lake.
